In the water today?BORDERLINE — Spearo, the spearfishing app for Android
Your shore's verdict — on screen and right on the widget. Swell, period, wind, visibility, tides — plus your own saved points with a forecast for their exact coordinates. A planning instrument, not a guarantee: the sea decides.

One word instead of ten charts
The app runs the same scored forecast as the site: swell, period, wind, visibility, tide and moon — folded into one honest verdict for the day and for every window. With window hours, fish stars and the reasons.
Conditions check out: the window, the hours and which way the tide runs — on screen.
For the experienced and careful: read the reasons, decide on the spot.
The sea won't let you in: swell, wind or murk. Rest days show up in advance.
Citron marks the fact of the day — the thing that made the verdict what it is.
Seven verdicts ahead
The week ribbon shows where the sea is heading. A day opens into an hour-by-hour line: windows with reasons, tides with a chart, and the moon.
- A 7-day ribbon — a verdict bar on every day
- The hour-by-hour line: when to get in, when to get out
- Windows with reasons — not just “go”, but why
- Tides with a sparkline and the water's direction
- Moon phase and fish stars

A forecast for your coordinates, not the next town over
A dark chart with ~42 vetted spots across Portugal — tap one for its forecast, or save it. Better still: long-press your own place, and the point gets its own 7-day forecast computed for its coordinates (~5 km grid).
- Tap “Save your point”
- Long-press the place on the map
- Name it and save — up to 5 points
Every point gets a full forecast, its own push monitoring and “To widget”: your place's verdict right on the home screen.

The verdict before you even open the app
Five widgets: photo verdict, the week strip, and instruments. Each binds to a city or one of your points; the gear sits on the widget itself. Colour follows the verdict, the backdrop follows the sea.
Silent until the sea opens a window
Follow your current city, pin a favourite, or monitor your points. A push arrives only when a day clears the bar: green — or green plus amber, if you allow it.
- When a window opens
- The evening before
- Daily — how tomorrow looks
- Mondays — the week's digest
- In the morning — the day's verdict
A test push arrives instantly — to check your setup. Plus an on-demand “at my location” check: the verdict wherever you are.
What's in season, where to enter, and what it looks like right now
Fish & season
Species in season, legal minimum sizes and protected-species flags — so you don't bring home a fine.
Shore entries
Entry spots ranked by safety, with solo-risk flags — where to get in today, and where not to.
Live cameras
Beach cameras inside the app — check the foam and the shorebreak with your own eyes before you drive out.

Three short videos
Offline, countries & privacy
Offline
The last forecast is cached on the phone: coast signal is patchy — the verdict stays with you.
Cities & countries
The city catalogue is server-driven: new cities and countries appear without an app update. Full English, Portuguese and Russian.
Privacy
The app doesn't collect your device's precise location — only your chosen city. Coordinates of the points you save yourself are sent to the server: that's what their forecast is computed from. Anonymous analytics, with an off switch.
Coming soon to Google Play
The app is finished and headed for Google Play. Leave your email — we'll invite you to the closed beta when spots open.
You need a Google account (Gmail) — it's what you sign into Google Play with.
One email with the beta link. No spam, no newsletters.
Spearo is a planning instrument, not a guarantee. The sea always has the final word — look at the water before you get in.
