Open the seafloor mapWalk about 800 m down from the clifftop car park and wade in from the beach. The bottom slopes to sand with large boulders and kelp, reaching about 15 m, and there are caves on the Man O'War side of the arch. Southerly wind and swell make entry and exit dangerous, and there is no mobile signal.
Google MapsWalk straight in from the stony beach into a sheltered, weedy cove 6–9 m deep, good for training. Use a surface marker because of boats and jet skis, and stay inside the cove, where currents outside will carry you down the coast.

Bass: catch-and-release only 1 Feb–31 Mar (rod and line), then 3 a day, 42 cm min. Check the local IFCA/Marine Scotland/DAERA rules — in Cornwall no spearfishing dusk to dawn or with scuba. No-take zones (Lundy, Lamlash Bay, Flamborough) are closed.
