Rock breakwall on the bay side of Manly; structure and shelter in an otherwise flat mud-and-sand bay, 2–6 m. Moreton Bay Marine Park zoning applies across this whole bay; check the zone for this exact position. The wall is the only relief in the bay: rock and its rubble toe on mud and sand.

Open in the appBayside flats and seagrass; walk to King Island at low tide. Low viz, muddy — info/beginner only, better viz offshore by boat. At spring low the flats all but dry out: for the water, go on the flood or at high tide.
Google MapsSOLO is the biggest risk: underwater you can black out from lack of oxygen silently and fatally, with no one around. Solo is never truly «safe». Below are the best weather windows; carry a buoy, tell someone your plan and exit time, and any doubt — don't go.

Brisbane / Moreton Bay has rock entry points such as Wellington Point / King Island, Cleveland Point and Manly Boat Harbour — outer wall. Moreton Bay's western shore is flats and seagrass rather than reef — you can walk out to King Island off Wellington Point on a low tide, but it is shallow, muddy and low-visibility. Below you'll find each spot (access, shelter and hazards) and today's forecast.

Summer 24–27 °C — 2 mm suit; winter 20–22 °C — 3 mm. Warm, murky after rain.
Moderate: murky after rain, sharks present; fish the dry season.
Brisbane / Moreton Bay is in QLD. No — Queensland has no general recreational licence, but the Great Barrier Reef zoning rules: spearing is allowed in General Use and Habitat Protection zones and banned in the green and pink ones.
