Get in from the rocks on the side sheltered from the swell and work the boulders and ledges along the point; expect roughly 3–12 m within a short fin. A snorkelling guide rates the rocky shore under the old town of Mahdia. Dive it in calm seas only, tow a buoy and keep well clear of boats and nets.
