What Mazatlán calls Isla Lobos is not a separate island: SEMAR/DIGAOHM's questionnaire describes it as the S part of Isla Venados, joined to the main body by a narrow tongue of land called el Cuello, with Roca Estrella some 67 m S of its SW tip. Low walls and loose stone, 3–12 m. The pin sits about 150 m off the rock, panga access. Protected surface (APFF Islas del Golfo): you look, you do not land.
