- SÌ puoi arpionare: Rhode Island (carve-out esplicito «spear or bolt while diving»), New York (6 NYCRR 40.1: «angling and spearing»), New Jersey (metodo co-equo esplicito), Delaware (parità con l'amo, sommerso) e Virginia (4VAC20-252-50, attrezzo nominato). New Hampshire, molto probabile — non esiste divieto (vietati solo gaffa/culling).
- NO non puoi arpionare: Maine (lista DMR esplicita), Massachusetts (M.G.L. 130 §100B, solo amo), Connecticut (tabella ufficiale «No Spearing»), Maryland (escluso dall'attrezzo da lancio, COMAR 08.02.25.03), North Carolina («unlawful to gig, spear, or gaff») e South Carolina (§50-5-1700, gamefish solo amo).

Rules current as of 2026 — spearfishing law is STATE-by-state in the US. License, spearable species, powerhead rules and beach/pier buffers all vary; federal sanctuaries (Gray's Reef, FL Keys, Flower Garden Banks) ban spearfishing. Always confirm with the state agency and local ordinances before you go.
In quali stati posso arpionare la spigola?
Sì in Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Delaware e Virginia; molto probabilmente sì in New Hampshire (nessun divieto). NO in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, North Carolina e South Carolina.
Economica o gratis. Il New England ha reciprocità (ME/MA/RI/CT/NY).
