- Work at first light: the beach bar and the sand wake up around ten and by then the path from above is already busy. Best months are May and October, water at 18 and 22 degrees; August gives 26 but far too many people. Night spearfishing is banned across Spain, sunset to sunrise.

- The level moves twenty centimetres and counts for nothing. Watch something else: after a day of settled Llevant a drift runs southwest, and a kilometre to the east sits the Vallcarca industrial zone with its cement terminal. After rain a grey plume comes off it and settles into the cove for half a day.
- zaklon
- The cove lies under the cliff of the Garraf massif and faces south and south-southeast. The Sitges town anchor actually sits in the village of Garraf, 7.4 kilometres east of the town itself, so keep that in mind. Mestral and Tramuntana from northwest and north come over the rock and flatten the water; Garbí from the southwest and Migjorn from the south come straight in.

- The working sector runs from 280 to 60 degrees. Anything between 100 and 220 shuts the cove, and the worst is 120 degrees, the Xaloc from the southeast. Water here is on average murkier than on the Costa Brava: Barcelona is close and there are outfalls. On a good winter day you see 8–15 metres; after a blow, two or three.
